A deaf girl was stranded at home and needed to attend a school for the deaf to learn sign language and obtain a normal education. Missing out and falling behind at this stage would be very difficult to recover from.
Thanks to an Afrinspire donor who prioritises girls and people with disabilities it was possible for Afrinspire to help her to start in her secondary school this year.
