AIDTS is an indigenous Ugandan NGO based in Mbarara in south-west Uganda. The agency provides capacity building services to other NGO's, CBO's and the private sector, offering training services, consultancy and research. These services are made available in any district or venue in East Africa, normally within the Great Lakes Region.

Map Pioneered in 1997 by Nkamuhebwa Willy, AIDTS has been building up a track record of successful projects, commissions and courses delivered to clients. Not only are these services valuable in themselves but AIDTS is investing the income received from fees to build up a Resource Centre in Mbarara town and also in progress is the construction of
a Development Study Centre in the suburbs. When complete this will be a purpose built centre for the short courses and training events in which AIDTS specialises. A library and computer training centre has been established.
