'Linking Education with Employment for Young People in Africa'

Young people in Africa today face many problems. One such issue is the struggle to find employment and the income-generation needed to gain a better standard of living.

Afrinspire will host this event in collaboration with Cambridge Hub and guest speaker Anna-Joy Rickard, Head of Programmes at Teach A Man to Fish (and formerly Director of the Humanitarian Centre Cambridge 2011-2013). Anna-Joy will explore how schools can teach young people entrepreneurship skills and simultaneously generate additional resources by setting up school businesses. She will use a recent case study from the Ilowola Secondary School in Njombe, Tanzania.
